My sister is not coming home for Christmas. Antonio is just too little to be traveling during the height of cold and flu season. Selfishly I can’t help thinking that this is the 1st time in my entire life that I will go from Thanksgiving to New Years without seeing my big sister. Yesterday I had an eye doctor appointment at 5:15, 2 blocks from my house. I got into town at 5:08 (pretty standard). Since I forgot to throw food in the crockpot that morning I knew I had about 5 minutes to run upstairs toss the fixins in the oven (sans preheat) and get out.

I watch Jeopardy! every day usually during or while making dinner. In Chicago it is on at 3:30 in the afternoon (I know at least in Philly it’s on at 6, which would be so much more convenient) so I DVR every day and chill out in the comfy chair with Wentworth while I watch it.
