They are knocking down an old reseach hall on campus.
For some reason we appear to be right near the exhaust.
Our entire office space smells like a lawnmower.
Not like freshly cut grass, like a gas lawnmower right after it’s done cutting. Gasoliney and oily and gross.
Long story short I’ve had to use my inhaler already, if it goes day 3 tomorrow I may be writing from the emergency room.
Now who’s going to give me $248 plus tax and shipping?
I’m really excited that most of my favorite people are pairing up and getting married.
Yesterday was my cousin Bryan and his fiancee Jackie’s bridal shower and I couldn’t help but think how fortunate I am to be in their lives. They are getting married December 31st, it’s going to be one hell of a way to ring in the new year.
Alexis has been one of my best friends since we were 15 years old. Given that I didn’t have any friends that I was not related to until I was 13, I hope you can appreciate just how precious that is to me. She marries Ben on February 4th.
My cousin Michael gets married on October 13, I get to celebrate with the Sanchez’s while checking “Minnesota” off my 50 states list.
And on Saturday I got to help orchestrate this proposal.

PK proposed to Kat on homecoming weekend in the mailroom of our college where they 1st met nearly 9 years ago. It was wonderful and perfect, just like the 2 of them together.
Did you know that if you spell the word “SOCKS” out loud you will be saying “it is what it is” in spanish?
S-O-C-K-S= Eso si que es.
Give it a try!
Huge unbustable smile on my face right now.
